Board of Directors
Leading the business with a wealth of knowledge and experience, OPH’s board of directors has a diverse skill set encompassing a law degree, MBA and CA(SA). The directors all share a passion for the Joburg CBD and are proud that the company remains at the forefront of Joburg’s inner city rejuvenation.
Gerald Mark Olitzki
As the founder of OPH, Gerald Olitzki is a pioneer and visionary in the industry. He had a dream for Joburg’s inner city and much to the criticism of his peers, ultimately gave up his successful law practice and has spent the last 30 years quietly chiselling away at the dirt and crime to rebuild an office node that caters to both small and large business alike.
A doyen of the South African property industry, Gerald has proved his commitment and dedication to the Joburg CBD over and over again. Despite many challenges along the way, Gerald continues to demonstrate the same passion that he had 30 years ago.
Gary Asher Aremband
Gary Aremband, Managing Director of OPH, obtained a B Com (Honours) CA(SA) in 2003 from RAU (now University of Johannesburg) with articles at Grant Thornton, specialising in the property sector. He headed the audits of a number of JSE listed property funds.

Gary’s passion is property. He is a true operator and gets things done.
