From a derelict structure, that sadly stood empty for many years, is now one of the premium buildings in Johannesburg CBD overlooking Gandhi Square
The 19-storey building was unoccupied for 15 years before OPH purchased it in 2015. Although no homeless people had occupied the building, it had been stripped of anything of value, and needed a serious dose of TLC.
The top two floors now house the headquarters of OPH, the roof having been largely enclosed to create spacious offices for the company, with a generous outdoor area overlooking Gandhi Square and the city skyscrapers. The gleaming tiled foyer contains original copper and brass art on its walls and columns.
